Let's make SANA Convention a premium overseas Sindhi event

Sindhi Association of North America (SANA) has been serving Sindhi community in USA and Canada since last 24 years. It provides a forum to Sindhi community to come together and network with each other. Some of the stated objectives of the organization are:

- to create a sense of brotherhood, cooperation and cohesion amongst Sindhis living in North America

- to defend the historic national rights, including human rights, and rights of self determination of Sindhi people within their existing national territory

- to promote contact with Sindhis living in different parts of the world, cooperate for common goals and purposes with their organizations

- and to inform, educate and create awareness among Sindhis and non-Sindhis alike about the Sindhi peoples way of life and civilization; values and philosophy; language and literature; music and culture; history and heritage; arts and architecture; and rights and interests, and to work to preserve and promote a constructive evolution of the same.

To achieve its objectives, one of the main activities of our organization has been the holding of annual conventions. A large number of community members attend the conventions.

During our conventions, we invite distinguished people from USA, Canada and other countries to speak on various subjects of the interest of our members. A number of politicians, educationists, writers, intellectuals, poets, historians, archaeologists and others have attended and spoken at our conventions. We arrange an annual banquet and Sindhi music nights at the convention too.

We have also been raising strong voice for the inalienable rights of our people in Sindh on all the forums available to us. I think there is a need to strengthen this organization and make its convention a premium overseas Sindhi event.

We are holding our 24th Annual Convention at Westin Hotels and Resorts, City Center, Dallas, TX July 3-6. I invite all of you to please attend our convention. Also please inform your friends and contacts about the convention.
