Saharo Foundation & READ Ramadan package & Medical Camp for Flood Affected in District;Badin

Saharo Foundation's commitment to serve people of Sindh in month of Ramadan, Saharo Foundation and READ has arranged two medical and food distribution(Ramadan Package) camps in Village Kaak Buledi near Talhaar and Tando Baago in District Badin due to recent flood disaster in District Badin ,150 ration bags were distributed in flood victims.

Our Volunteers identified and categorized the families and issued Aid Token, on the basis of Token food and other items from camp were distributed to flood victims as every one can easily access to food without making rush .

Families consist on 4 members were given one ration bag,Total of 150 bags were distributed and more than 500 people will benefit.

Per Family Package:

10 Kg Wheat flour
5 Kg Rice
2 Kg cooking Oil
2 kg Daal Chana
1 kg Sugar
Half Liter Milk pack
300 gram Tea bag
250grams red chilies and other spices
1 kg Onion

Medical Camp for Flood Affected

Saharo Foundation and READ held a free medical clinic, and treated more than 105 people including women and children with flood diseases. Our Volunteer Dr Irfan Qazi provided treatment to 105 patients, all patients got free medicine which were provided them by Saharo Foundation, most of children were suffering from vomiting, itchy and abdominal diseased the doctor treated many children with skin disease also, where women were suffering from malnutrition and they were given calcium and iron .At least 40 women got treatment .

Medicine:

Medicine consist on ORS, antibiotics, anti-allergic tablets, Itchy tube, folic acid (for pregnant women) multi Vitamins and iron (Medicine were given on the prescription of doctor).

Many people were very grateful to Saharo Foundation and READ and their volunteers for act of kindness for them.
