Saharo Foundation & READ arranged Food distribution and Medical Camp at Village Tajpur near Tando Allahyar


On behalf of SAHARO Foundation and READ volunteers; we are grateful to all friends who cumulatively donating for flood victims,We got enormous encouragement from our friends and still continuously getting it.

As most of the friends living in North America are aware that Saharo Foundation and READ volunteers are trying to reach flood victims in every district and organizing food and medical clinic with their limited resources.

On October 9th Saharo Foundation and READ arranged Food distribution and Medical Camp at village Tajpur near Tando Allahyaar,

Food distribution and Medical Camp for Minorities

our team of volunteers selected deserving families and distributed 85 ration bags specially in minorities like Kohlis and Meghwar farmers because they are getting very limited support.

Each Ration bag Consists for family of five to six people;

10 kg Atta(wheat flour)
5 kg Rice
1kg Cooking oil
1 kg Sugar
1 kg Pulse(Daal Chana)
250 grams of Tea Packet
200 gram red chilies
1 Milk packet 250ml
2 Bath Soap
2 Detergent soap

Medical Camp

Medical Camp started around 10:30 am where our Volunteer Doctor Irfan Qazi with help of two medical Assistance treated more than 300 people including women and children with flood related disease,All patients received free medicines provided by Saharo Foundation,most of the patients were suffering from abdominal pain like diarrhea,skin diseases where most of the women were suffering from malnutrition and they were given multivitamin.
