Saharo Foundation USA and READ distributed uncooked food in various pocket camps


Located at different areas of Hyderabad

Food items distributed are as under;

5kg Wheat flour bag

1kg Pulse(Daal Chana)

1kg Cooking oil

Half kg Sugar Packet

250 gram Spices

Salt 800 gram

1kg Onion Bag

Milk pack 250 ml 70 packs

Food have been distributed in pocket camps at Marvi Garden,Shedi Goth and Wahdat colony, Hyderabad.

Totally70 families were covered at above camps.

It is for your kind information the people were covered in these camps have never got any support as they belong to middle class families and it was difficult and embarrassing for them to go to the camps for food and they were very hesitant to ask for.

some of these respected families sold their cattle and women sold their gold Jewelry to pay for food and rent where they are staying,I personally visited one of the upper portion of 100 yard house and there are 20 people including women and children living in two bedroom upper portion, unfortunately they are paying rent of Rs 6000 Rupees per month. They become very great full On finding of READ and Saharo foundation's assistance on their door step,All families were grateful, they did not have words of thanks for Saharo Foundation and READ apart from tears in their eyes on this act of kindness.

Saharo Foundation and READ have decided to support these families till Rehabilitation
