SANA Washington,DC chapter had a great get to gather on 10th June 2006. We appreciate
every body's helpand thank you for joining us. This was the first gathering/dinner arranged by new cabinet and was totally a team work credit goes to whole community. here are details of gathering.Guests started arriving at 1845,first one was our own Ada Mumtaz bhutto of MD.We thank you for that. We had guests from Houston,TX, Pennsylvania and a Pakistani family of Ada Javed memon. Katchri started as soon as all guests arrived, introductions and informal political discussions were dominating in katchri.SANA Cabinet distributed the colorful event brochure and was highly appreciated by guests. SANA TORONTO Convention registration forms and program details were also available.Ada Sarfraz brought 2005 Convention DVDs.
Dinner started on time, there was lot of spicy food,Pizza, Gulab jamin, cakes,Sodas and tea. thank you all for bringing food on time. every body enjoyed that delicious hot and spicy food.
After food, there was a musical chair for kids, a little SARAH won the game CONGRATULATIONS for that. interesting game was for the couples, Ada Asif wrote some acts on paper and that paper was shown to male and audience but not his spouse, so he has to act as his wife can solve the puzzle. every body had two chances. wow that was intresting,FIRST TIME We saw Ada Khalid hashmani was choking himself, trying to show his wife an act of suicide, Ada Ali Nawaz Memon was washing his clothes, ohhh yes in front of every body, Saeen Munawar Soomro was driving a ricksaw (kind ofhis old job in shikarpur), Sarfraz Memon was dancing with Adi Khurshid Shaikh (Adi Yasmeen was about to shoot both of them)Ada Shahid Talpur, Hanif Sangi and Saeen Badar Shaikh also played roles. Ada Sarfraz Memon won the game,CONGRATULATIONS!
Hanif Sangi thanked the guests for coming and Ex-Cabinet for job well done and announced that a SINDH Charity fundhas been established to SAVE some body's life in SINDH,details will be mailed seprately. Mama Aleem brohi presented flowers and appreciation certificates to Adi Yasmeen Memon and Adi Reno (Adi Reno was unable to attend the dinner,so Adi Khurshid received on her behalf). Mama Aleem also presented the gift to Sarfraz memon for winning the game and Sarah for winning the musical chair. Finally a Group photo was taken as a memory and will be saved for ever as a soft and hard copy. pics will be mailed very soon,some are little dark,they need editing.Thank you all for joining us,and those of who you missed this time, please try tojoin us next time.
